Ingredients

  • 200 grams rice noodles
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 packet seasoning mix
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 whole orange
  • 1 cup water chestnuts
  • 1 bunch scallions
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup cashews

Method

  1. Start by soaking the rice noodles in warm water for 15 minutes until they soften.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sesame oil, honey, rice vinegar, and seasoning mix, stirring until everything is blended smoothly.
  3. Once the noodles are tender, drain them and place them in a large bowl.
  4. Incorporate the shredded cabbage, juicy orange slices, diced water chestnuts, chopped scallions, and sunflower seeds into the bowl with the noodles.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and gently mix until all ingredients are well coated.
  6. Refrigerate the salad for 2 to 4 hours to enhance the flavors.
  7. Before serving, top with a handful of crunchy cashews for added texture.
