These zesty honey mustard chicken wings are the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, baked to crispy perfection and coated in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
to taste teaspoon salt
to taste teaspoon black pepper
a splash hot sauce
Method
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and lightly spraying it with cooking oil.
Arrange the chicken wings on the baking sheet, making sure to leave space between them. Season with a generous pinch of salt.
Bake the wings for approximately 20 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Using tongs, carefully flip the wings and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and the juices run clear.
In a large mixing bowl, combine Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and a dash of hot sauce. Once the wings are out of the oven, transfer them to the bowl and use a spatula to coat them evenly with the sauce. Allow them to rest for five minutes, then give them another toss for an even glaze before serving.
