1 pound Chicken breast
as needed for frying Oil
to taste for garnish Sesame seeds
2 stalks Green onions
2 cups Rice
Method
Gather all necessary ingredients before starting.
In a medium bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, sweet rice wine, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, and grated ginger until smooth.
In a large skillet or wok, heat a generous splash of oil over medium-high heat. Add half of the chicken pieces and sauté, stirring often, until they are cooked through and no longer pink, roughly 5 minutes.
Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set aside. Repeat the cooking process with the remaining chicken.
Once all the chicken is cooked, return it to the skillet. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and stir well. Cook for another 3 minutes or until the sauce is thick and bubbling.
Top the dish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish. Serve immediately on a bed of rice.
