These zesty baked chicken wings are crisp on the outside and coated in a delicious tangy sauce that makes every bite irresistible.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
1 large egg
1 cup flour
for frying as needed oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
Method
Start by dipping the chicken wings into a whisked egg mixture, then coat them thoroughly with flour. In a large skillet, heat some oil and fry the wings until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color, which should take around 15 minutes. Once fried, drain the wings and lay them out in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
For the sauce, combine soy sauce, water, sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl and stir until everything is well blended. Drizzle this zesty sauce over the crispy wings.
Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken wings are thoroughly cooked and the juices run clear.
