3 packs various flavored gelatin
1 pack unflavored gelatin
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 cup condensed milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
Start by pouring different flavors of gelatin into individual bowls. Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water into one bowl and stir for around 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Then, mix in 1/2 cup of cold water. Repeat this for all gelatin flavors and place them in the refrigerator until set, which may take anywhere from 4 hours to overnight.
Prepare a 9-inch cake pan by applying a layer of cooking spray to ensure easy removal later.
Once the gelatin has set, remove it from the fridge and cut each flavor into small cubes. Gently mix the colorful cubes in a bowl to create a vibrant assortment and transfer them into the prepared cake pan.
In a separate bowl, pour 1 cup of cold water and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin on top. Allow it to sit for 2 to 3 minutes to soften, then add 1 cup of boiling water and stir until it's fully dissolved.
In a blender, combine the condensed milk, heavy cream, the dissolved unflavored gelatin mixture, and vanilla extract. Blend the mixture until smooth and homogenous, then pour it over the colorful gelatin cubes in the cake pan, using a spatula to ensure even coverage.
Return the cake to the refrigerator to set completely, which may take another 4 hours or overnight.
When ready to serve, run a knife along the edges of the cake pan to loosen it, then carefully invert the cake onto a serving plate.
