Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup green onions
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Method

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce and an egg until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Add in chopped green onions, fresh cilantro, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper, mixing well to form a flavorful paste.
  3. Fold in ground turkey and breadcrumbs, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed. Shape the mixture into four equally sized patties.
  4. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes, turning once, until fully cooked and no longer pink inside. Verify doneness with an instant-read thermometer, ensuring it reads at least 165°F (74°C).
