Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Method

  1. Begin by heating oil in a wok or a large skillet over a medium-high flame.
  2. Add the diced chicken and cook until fully cooked through, with no pink remaining inside, for about 7 to 10 minutes.
  3. Mix in sliced mushrooms, chopped onions, diced bell peppers, and pour in the teriyaki sauce along with pineapple chunks and their juice, garlic powder, and a dash of chili flakes.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and let the mixture simmer gently.
  5. To thicken the sauce, stir in a small amount of flour and continue simmering for around 15 minutes until the sauce achieves your preferred thickness.
