A delicious skillet dish that combines the flavors of tacos with juicy burger patties, topped with melted cheese and crunchy corn chips for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 can condensed soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed corn chips
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, chopped onions, and taco seasoning until everything is evenly combined. Shape the mixture into four burger patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4 minutes per side, or until they're nicely browned and fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of at least 160°F (70°C). Drain any excess fat and wipe the skillet with a paper towel.
  3. In another bowl, combine the soup with water and whisk until smooth. Pour this mixture over the cooked burger patties in the skillet and let it simmer for around 5 minutes until everything is hot.
  4. Add in the diced tomatoes, shredded Cheddar cheese, crushed corn chips, and sliced olives. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well mixed, then serve the delicious taco burgers immediately.
