Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Take your crescent roll dough and cut it in half along the perforation, then flatten each rectangle and seal the seams.
  3. Evenly spread one-fourth of the cheesy filling over the dough, followed by a generous layer of fresh spinach.
  4. Begin rolling the dough from the longer side, ensuring to roll tightly and seal the edges well.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into approximately 3/4 inch slices, aiming for about 15 pinwheels per roll.
  6. Arrange the slices on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving about an inch of space between each piece.
  7. Continue the process with the remaining ingredients until everything is used.
  8. Bake in the oven for around 10 to 12 minutes, or until they achieve a light golden hue.
  9. Serve them hot or keep warm on a tray for later enjoyment.
