Ingredients
1/2 cup tahini
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 can garbanzo beans
as needed cups water
Method
Begin by blending tahini, olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, minced garlic, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, salt, sesame oil, and your preferred hot sauce in a food processor until the mixture is creamy, which should take about 3 minutes.
Add the garbanzo beans to the blender and process for another 2 minutes, ensuring everything is well mixed.
Slowly incorporate water to reach your ideal consistency, blending for an extra 3 minutes.
