Ingredients
1 medium butternut squash
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon five-spice seasoning
2 cloves garlic
to taste none sea salt
to taste none black pepper
Method
Start by setting your air fryer to a temperature of 400°F (200°C).
In a large mixing bowl, toss together the cubed butternut squash with a splash of oil, aromatic five-spice powder, crushed garlic, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper until everything is thoroughly coated.
Place the seasoned butternut squash into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook the squash for 15 to 20 minutes, gently shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure they cook evenly. Once they are golden and crispy, remove them from the fryer and add a pinch of sea salt to taste.
