A delightful dish featuring tender chicken coated in a rich tahini sauce, perfect for any dinner table.
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 cube bouillon cube
1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
2 tablespoons butter
1 pound chicken pieces
2 tablespoons flour
Method
Start by boiling water in a saucepan, adding a bouillon cube and stirring until it completely dissolves. Lower the heat to maintain a gentle simmer.
Mix in tahini, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and freshly grated ginger into the broth, whisking until the mixture is smooth and uniform. Keep the sauce warm on a low flame.
In another skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Introduce the chicken pieces and sauté, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and no longer pink, which should take about 5 to 10 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
Slowly add flour to the tahini sauce, stirring constantly and cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens to your liking.
Once the chicken is done, combine it with the tahini sauce, tossing everything together until the chicken is evenly coated in the rich sauce.
