Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
6 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
2 stalks green onions
8 ounces crab meat
Method
Start by heating your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, lemon zest and juice, seafood seasoning, paprika, hot sauce, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and 4 ounces of shredded Cheddar cheese until well blended. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt as needed.
Carefully fold in the chopped green onions and crab meat with a spatula, ensuring everything is evenly mixed.
Transfer the mixture into a suitable baking dish or a deep pie pan. Top with the remaining 2 ounces of shredded Cheddar cheese and a light sprinkle of cayenne for an extra kick.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbling and hot. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
For a finishing touch, top with extra green onions and a dash of cayenne if you prefer more heat.
