Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless short ribs
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cloves
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven's broiler to high heat.
  2. Place the boneless short ribs on a broiler pan rack and broil them on the top rack for around 15 minutes until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown crust. Once browned, take them off the heat and move them to a baking dish.
  3. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
