Ingredients
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 pieces egg yolks
4 pieces egg whites
1 cup confectioners' sugar
to taste sprinkle cinnamon
Method
In a medium saucepan, blend sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, a splash of vanilla extract, and egg yolks. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon until the mixture becomes thick, which should take around 30 minutes.
Once it reaches a creamy consistency, pour the mixture into a heat-resistant dish and let it cool down.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites with confectioners' sugar until they form stiff peaks.
Carefully spread the whipped meringue over the cooled milk blend.
Refrigerate the dessert for about 3 hours to set.
