2 pounds beef short ribs
1 bunch green onion
2 medium carrots
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Method
Start by creating a diamond pattern on the surface of each beef rib for better flavor absorption.
In a spacious skillet, combine the beef ribs with chopped scallions, diced carrots, minced garlic, freshly grated ginger, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
Pour in enough water to fully cover the beef ribs.
Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low to maintain a gentle simmer.
Let the beef cook slowly for about an hour, or until it's fork-tender.
