These delicious herb-stuffed ribs are a perfect blend of savory flavors and tender meat, ideal for a hearty dinner.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
to taste none garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 cups bread cubes
1 cup celery
1 cup onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
to taste none salt
1-2 cups broth
2 racks ribs
Method
In a small bowl, combine a teaspoon of herb seasoning, garlic salt, and a quarter teaspoon of ground black pepper. Rub this mixture generously onto the meaty side of the ribs and let them sit to absorb the flavors while you prepare the stuffing.
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a large bowl, mix together bread cubes, diced celery, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, an additional quarter teaspoon of ground black pepper, and two teaspoons of herb seasoning. Use your hands to ensure everything is well combined.
Slowly add broth to the stuffing, stirring until all the bread cubes are evenly moistened. Lay one rack of ribs on a clean surface with the meaty side facing down and pile the stuffing on top. Place the second rack of ribs on top, meaty side facing up, and tie them securely with kitchen twine in three places.
Place the stuffed ribs in a roasting pan with a rack. Cover them with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for one hour. After that, remove the foil and continue baking for another 45 minutes to one hour until the ribs are nicely browned and have a crispy exterior.
