These herb-stuffed pork chops are seared to perfection and filled with a savory stuffing, creating a comforting and delicious meal.
Ingredients
4 pieces pork chops
2 cups bread cubes
1/4 cup butter
1 cup chicken broth
1 stalk celery
1 medium onion
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 can condensed soup
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons oil
Method
Gather all the necessary ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Heat some oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then sear the pork chops for about 4 to 6 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust. Once done, place them in a baking dish.
In a bowl, combine bread cubes, melted butter, chicken broth, diced celery, finely chopped onion, and a dash of poultry seasoning. Stuff each pork chop generously with this flavorful mixture.
Mix condensed soup with a bit of water and pour it over the stuffed pork chops. Cover the dish with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. After that, remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes, or until the pork is thoroughly cooked and has reached an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Once finished, take the dish out of the oven and let the pork chops rest for a few moments before serving.
