Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, sugar, fish sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the mixture is uniform.
  2. Mix baking powder with a tablespoon of water and integrate it into the pork blend, ensuring everything is well incorporated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for one hour.
  3. Prepare your grill by heating it to medium and applying a light coat of oil to the grates.
  4. With oiled hands, shape the pork mixture into sausages about 1 inch thick around skewers. Continue until all the mixture is used up.
