Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 pound beef slices

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, water, vegetable oil, and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Introduce the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are completely covered. Seal the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator.
  3. Let the beef marinate for 24 hours to fully absorb the flavors.
  4. Once marinated, remove the beef from the refrigerator and discard the excess marinade by shaking off the pieces.
  5. Thread the beef strips onto skewers in a zig-zag fashion, using either wooden or metal skewers.
