Savor the rich flavors of St. Louis-style pork chops grilled to perfection, seasoned simply yet deliciously, and accompanied by a tangy vinegar basting mix.
Ingredients
4 pieces pork steaks
to taste none seasoned salt
to taste none black pepper
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
Method
Start by heating your outdoor grill to a medium-low temperature and lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Season the pork chops generously on both sides with seasoned salt and freshly cracked black pepper. In a large mixing bowl, combine vinegar and water, adding any remaining salt and pepper to the mixture.
Once the grill is prepped, place the pork chops on it. For the first 15 minutes, grill the chops while basting them with the vinegar mixture on both sides. After that, continue to grill until they are cooked to your desired level of doneness, which should take an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C) when checked with a meat thermometer. Discard any leftover vinegar mixture after grilling.
