This delightful dish combines crispy French fries with savory bacon and perfectly runny eggs, all topped with a rich hollandaise sauce and fresh chives, making it an indulgent brunch treat.
Ingredients
1 bag Frozen French fries
8 slices Bacon
4 large Eggs
1 cup Hollandaise sauce
2 tablespoons Fresh chives
to taste N/A Salt
to taste N/A Pepper
Method
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet.
Bake the fries for approximately 20 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown; keep them warm after baking.
In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium-high heat, turning occasionally until it is crispy and browned, which should take about 10 minutes. Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain, and crumble it once it has cooled.
In another skillet, heat over medium heat and lightly coat it with cooking spray. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season them with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover loosely, and cook until the egg whites are firm but the yolks are still runny, about 3 minutes.
To assemble, distribute the crispy fries onto four plates. Top each serving with crumbled bacon, drizzle with hollandaise sauce, sprinkle with fresh chives, and place a perfectly cooked egg on top.
