This savory grilled steak marinade infuses the meat with rich flavors, making it tender and delicious. Perfect for your next barbecue!
Ingredients
2 pieces steaks
to taste none salt
to taste none black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Montreal steak seasoning
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 cloves minced garlic
a splash none liquid smoke
Method
Start by placing the steaks in a shallow dish or a suitable container, making shallow cuts around the edges of the fat every inch or so. Use a fork to poke holes on both sides of the steaks to help the marinade penetrate.
Generously sprinkle each steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Montreal steak seasoning, ensuring the spices stick well to the meat.
In a separate bowl, mix together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and a dash of liquid smoke. Whisk until well combined, then pour this mixture over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours. After that, flip the steaks over to allow for even marinating for an additional 2 hours.
When you are ready to grill, preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the steaks from sticking.
Grill the steaks for about 8 to 10 minutes on each side, or until they reach a medium-rare doneness with a warm, pink center. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130 degrees F (54 degrees C).
