Ingredients
1 packet lime gelatin powder
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup Irish whiskey
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup strawberry cream liqueur
Method
Position shot glasses in a mini muffin tin at a slight tilt.
In a mixing bowl, combine lime gelatin powder with half a cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved, then blend in Irish whiskey until well mixed. Carefully pour this mixture into the shot glasses, filling them almost to the brim. Refrigerate for about 4 hours until set.
In a separate bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over another half cup of boiling water and stir until it dissolves completely. Let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, mix in strawberry cream liqueur and stir until well combined.
After the lime layer has firmed up, take the shot glasses out of the muffin tin and stand them upright. Carefully spoon the strawberry mixture over the lime layer. Place the shot glasses back in the refrigerator and chill for another 4 hours until fully set.
