A fun and interactive meal where crunchy corn chips are filled with seasoned beef and fresh toppings, perfect for casual dining.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 cup water
1 packet taco seasoning
2 bags corn chips
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
Method
Gather all your ingredients to get started.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat for 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once browned, drain any excess fat, add water and taco seasoning, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Take your bags of corn chips and lightly crush them while they're still sealed. Cut a small slit in one top corner and one bottom corner of the bag, then carefully open the side.
Layer the crushed chips with the seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, grated Cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa in each bag.
Serve the taco bags immediately and enjoy with a fork!
