Enjoy these crispy air fryer buffalo wings, perfectly coated in a spicy and buttery sauce, ideal for game days or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup hot sauce
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Method
Begin by assembling all the required ingredients and preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
In a large bowl, add the chicken wings and drizzle them with oil, using your hands to ensure each wing is thoroughly coated.
Arrange half of the wings in a single layer within the air fryer basket.
Cook the wings for 25 minutes, flipping them midway to achieve a delightful golden-brown and crispy exterior. Once done, place the wings in a bowl and cover them to keep warm. Repeat this process with the remaining wings.
While the second batch is cooking, prepare the sauce by combining hot sauce, melted butter, vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously and keep warm.
After all the wings have been cooked, pour the warm sauce over them and toss gently to ensure an even coating.
