Deliciously crispy burritos filled with shredded pork, zesty salsa verde, and creamy cojita cheese, air-fried to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded pork
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cojita cheese
  • 6 pieces tortillas
  • as needed none nonstick cooking spray

Method

  1. Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together shredded pork, flavorful salsa verde, and crumbled cojita cheese until everything is well combined.
  3. Take a tablespoon of the mixture and place it on the lower part of a tortilla. Fold the sides inward to create an envelope shape and then roll it up tightly from the bottom to secure the filling. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Place the burritos in the basket seam side down, making sure they aren’t too crowded. Give the tops a quick spritz of cooking spray as well.
  5. Air fry the burritos for 6 minutes, and then repeat with any remaining burritos. Serve them warm with extra salsa verde on the side for dipping if desired.
