8 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 large egg
12 pieces dinner rolls
1 cup strawberry pie filling
2 tbsp butter
for dusting as needed powdered sugar
Method
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a spacious mixing bowl, whip together cream cheese and powdered sugar using a hand mixer on medium speed until you achieve a smooth consistency. Incorporate an egg and beat until the mixture is airy and fluffy.
Gently slice the rolls horizontally in half, ensuring they remain attached. Place the bottom halves back into their original packaging and set the package on a baking sheet.
Generously spread the cream cheese blend over the bottom halves of the rolls, followed by a layer of strawberry pie filling.
Carefully place the top halves back on and brush the exposed surfaces with melted butter. Cover the entire package with aluminum foil.
