Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 can green chilies
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 pieces tortillas
  • 1 cup cheese

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, diced green chilies, and salsa until well combined. Set aside.
  3. In a separate shallow dish, whisk the heavy cream with a pinch of salt until it's smooth and creamy. Set aside for later use.
  4. Heat a good amount of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry each tortilla for about 2 to 4 seconds until they start to blister, then immediately dip each one into the cream mixture.
  5. Fill each dipped tortilla with the chicken mixture, rolling them tightly and placing them seam-side down in a baking dish.
  6. Pour any leftover cream mixture over the tortillas and sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
