A comforting and creamy baked spaghetti dish, topped with hearty meatballs and marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
12 oz spaghetti
2 cups provolone cheese blend
1 jar Alfredo sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs
2 cups marinara sauce
1 lb meatballs
Method
Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly greasing a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a large pot, bring salted water to a vigorous boil. Add spaghetti and cook for approximately 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's slightly firm. Drain the pasta well.
In a mixing bowl, blend together a provolone cheese mix, one jar of creamy Alfredo sauce, the drained spaghetti, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, and beaten eggs. Stir until everything is combined and then transfer the mixture into the greased baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60 to 75 minutes, or until the dish is hot and bubbling. After baking, remove the foil and spread the remaining Alfredo sauce generously over the spaghetti.
For the meatball topping, heat marinara sauce and pre-cooked meatballs in a saucepan over medium heat. Allow it to simmer for about 15 to 25 minutes until the meatballs are heated through. Serve the meatballs and marinara sauce over the cheesy baked spaghetti.
