Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 cup shrimp
  • 1 can canned tuna
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 cup Catalina dressing
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon relish
  • to taste garlic salt

Method

  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water until it reaches a vigorous boil. Add elbow macaroni and let it cook for about 8 minutes, or until it reaches an al dente texture; then drain the pasta.
  2. Cool the pasta by rinsing it under cold running water, then drain it again to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the cooled macaroni with diced bell peppers, chopped celery, succulent shrimp, canned tuna, finely minced onion, and a blend of Catalina dressing mixed with mayonnaise. Include a spoonful of relish and a dash of garlic salt, then mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
