This Citrus Herb Baked Grouper is a delightful seafood dish featuring tender fillets seasoned with a zesty herb blend and baked to perfection, finished with a touch of lemon butter and mayonnaise.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces grouper fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a broiler pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with freshly squeezed lemon juice. Brush 2 tablespoons of this mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine chopped parsley, garlic salt, white pepper, and a dash of paprika. Season both sides of the grouper fillets with this herb blend and arrange them on the broiler pan.
  4. Bake the fillets in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until they flake easily with a fork. After baking, brush the fish with the remaining lemon butter and spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top. Finish by sprinkling a bit more paprika before serving.
