1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons yeast
4 cups flour

1 large egg
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar

Method
In a mixing bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast, allowing it to activate for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
Gradually add flour to the yeast mixture. Melt some butter in the microwave and mix it in along with an egg and salt until a soft, sticky dough forms. Transfer the dough to a floured surface, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise until it doubles in size, approximately one hour.
On a floured surface, shape the dough into a rectangle of 9x16 inches. Spread softened butter over the surface. In another bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then evenly sprinkle this mixture over the butter. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
