Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Matzo sheets
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Method

  1. Begin by rinsing each matzo sheet briefly under cold water, then tear them into small fragments and transfer them to a large bowl.
  2. In the bowl, mix the crumbled matzo with milk, eggs, ground cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla extract until all ingredients are well combined. If the mixture seems too thick, feel free to add a splash more milk.
  3. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Take a scoop of the matzo mixture and pour it into the skillet, using a spatula to gently press it down.
