These crispy crescent rolls filled with sweet cream cheese and cherries are an easy and delicious treat, perfect for dessert or a snack.
Ingredients
1 package crescent dough
4 oz cream cheese
12 pieces cherries
as needed spray non-stick cooking spray
to taste sprinkle cinnamon
Method
Lightly flour a clean surface and unfold the crescent dough, slicing it into triangular pieces along the perforated lines.
Spread a generous layer of cream cheese across each triangle.
At the wider edge of each triangle, place 3 to 4 cherries and carefully roll them up, ensuring the cherries are enclosed. Tuck the ends to keep the crescent shape intact.
Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and place the crescents inside, ensuring they are spaced evenly.
Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C).
Air fry the crescents for around 5 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown, checking occasionally to avoid sticking or burning, and adding an extra 2 to 3 minutes if needed.
Once cooked, transfer the crescents to a serving plate and sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon for added flavor.
